Below are the most commonly asked questions and answers we get regarding boarding, before and after your dog's stay.
What do I need to bring with my dog? What isn't ok to bring?
You must bring your dogs own food - of course we will provide quality food if you forget
but they will be happier and less likely to have an upset stomach if they stay on their diet.
Bring all boarding paperwork filled out completely.
Please do not leave your dogs leash or bowls if at all possible - we have plenty of both and
they will likely get lost.
It is ok to bring a blanket or clothing item for your dog to sleep with and their own bed if
you think it will make them more comfortable. You may also bring a toy or something
else they are used to sleeping with. Please don't bring any toys that are valuable and bear
in mind it will only be with them at bedtimes, to avoid destruction by another dog.
You may bring your dogs crate but it isn't necessary at all - we have high quality wire
crates of all sizes.
All dogs are provided with plenty of toys, stuffed and not, balls, treats, blankets, rugs and
more - many get chewed up but its all in the name of love :-)
All dogs are crated/kenneled at night and anytime I or my husband are away from home.
They are provided with things to chew on, toys and blankets in their crate or kennel and
if you have more than one dog they can definitely sleep together if they like to. There are
five crates surrounding the indoor play room that are for sleeping or when I'm gone,
temperature is kept comfortable - between 60 and 75 degrees. There are two large
outdoor kennels that are enclosed and roofed- one is 5X5 and the other is 5X10, the
floor is sturdy and more comfortable rubber and there are large wooden raised beds for
dogs to lay on. These kennels are left open during the day and is a popular napping spot
in the summer. They are used for overnight sleeping in summer months only when
weather is 65 plus degrees. Each outdoor kennel has a camera so we can make sure they
are happy and comfortable.
When can I drop off and pick up my dog?
There are no drop offs before 7 AM on weekdays and 8 AM on Weekends. If you drop off in
evening it is preferable to do it before 7pm so they have a chance to settle in and play etc.
Pickup times are flexible - late pickups are fine too occasionally. Regardless of when you
drop off or pick up your dog - if they spend the night you pay for that night.
